CKD Committee

Purpose
The CKD Committee of the Japan Academy of Nephrology Nursing (hereinafter referred to as this Committee) aims to systematically accumulate knowledge not only on Nephrology nursing but also on nursing care during the conservative management phase of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Through the publication of evidence-based CKD nursing practices, it seeks to improve the quality of CKD nursing and contribute to preventing the progression of chronic kidney disease.
Activities
- The Committee shall establish working groups on conservative management of CKD, dialysis nursing, kidney transplant nursing, nursing ethics and theory, and case collection/human resource development/education to systematically compile relevant knowledge.
- Knowledge gained through the Committee's activities shall be published through presentations at academic conferences and the publication of care guides.
- This committee will implement educational activities for personnel development in chronic kidney disease nursing and for patients and their families regarding the prevention and progression prevention of chronic kidney disease.
