CKDLN Committee
Overview
The CKDLN certification program, launched in 2004, now has over 1,000 certified individuals, with numbers increasing annually.
Furthermore, in September 2017, the title was changed to Chronic Kidney Disease Leading Nurse (CKDLN).
The nation is divided into 8 regions, where activities centered on dialysis therapy, such as regional seminars, have been conducted. Going forward, the scope of activities will be broadened to encompass not only CKD nursing but also hemodialysis therapy, kidney transplantation, and peritoneal dialysis.
In 2019, a meeting of CKDLN Prefectural Representatives was held. Moving forward, we aim to conduct CKDLN activities in each prefecture, centered around the prefectural representatives.
CKDLN badges are also available. Please make use of them.
About the CKDLN Seminar
I. Purpose
The CKDLN Seminar was launched in fiscal year 2019 to enable Chronic Kidney Disease Leading Nurse (CKDLNs) to independently plan and operate forums for mutual learning with neighboring CKDLNs (at the prefectural level) and other healthcare professionals involved in kidney disease care.
The CKDLN Seminar aims to contribute to improving the quality of kidney disease care. This is achieved through the planning and operation of CKDLN-led mutual learning forums, facilitating reflection on current care practices and the acquisition of related knowledge and skills.
